Hidden in My Paradise is a delightful hidden object experience that stands out immediately thanks to its very cutesy art style. There is plenty of variety in terms of the objects you need to find which keeps the search feeling fresh across different levels. A particularly nice touch is the ability to use various filters to slightly change the visuals to your liking. The game also introduces a unique mechanic where fairies are hidden inside objects to add an extra layer of discovery to the gameplay. I really enjoyed the process of recreating the snapshots and it was a relief to find that the system is pretty generous regarding where you place items to match the reference photos. Additionally the gacha system serves as a fun way to spend your earned tickets and in game currency to unlock new items for use in the level creator.
The only minor drawback to the experience is that the music loop feels a little basic and samey. While it provides a relaxing backdrop it does not offer much variety and can become a bit repetitive during longer play sessions.
Overall Hidden in My Paradise is a charming and creative take on the hidden object genre that shines through its adorable presentation and engaging snapshot mechanic. While the soundtrack is somewhat limited the wealth of items to find and the inclusion of a robust level creator make it a wonderful choice for players who want a cozy and relaxing puzzle game.
