Medal of Honor: Warfighter

“Medal of Honor: Warfighter features diverse missions, unique breaching options, and strong squad vibes, but its disjointed, jumping timeline and exaggerated sniper bullet drop detract.”

Medal of Honor: Warfighter picks up where the 2010 reboot left off, putting you mainly in the shoes of two characters: “Preacher,” who delivers that classic first-person shooter experience, and “Stump,” who focuses on stealth and sniping.

One cool feature is the breaching system. You unlock different breaching styles by landing headshots during those moments. While these mostly change how things look rather than how enemies react, it adds a nice tactical touch. The team interactions are well done, with casual chats that make you feel like you’re really part of a squad. The game throws plenty of intense moments your way, like near-misses from RPGs that keep the tension high. The mission variety is a nice surprise too, mixing driving and stealth levels alongside the usual shooting, which keeps things fresh.

On the downside, the story can be a bit all over the place, jumping between timelines without much warning. This can get confusing and pull you out of the experience. The sniping parts with Stump aren’t bad but feel a bit off because of some exaggerated bullet drop, making it harder to get that smooth, precise sniper feel.

Overall, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a mixed bag but still pretty engaging. It shines with strong team vibes, varied missions, and tactical breaching, but the story and some gameplay elements, especially sniping, might trip you up. If you like tactical shooters with a mix of action and stealth, there’s a lot here to enjoy, just with a few bumps along the way.
