Little Nightmares II is a solid follow-up that pulls you right into its creepy world with even more twisted monsters and a deeper mystery. The atmosphere is just as haunting as the first game, keeping that unsettling vibe going strong.
One big improvement is that those tricky bridges you had to balance on don’t make you fall anymore, which is a nice relief and makes the game flow smoother. The chapters also connect better with fewer loading breaks, so you stay more immersed. The companion AI is pretty cool too. Some puzzles have you teaching your buddy to copy your moves, which adds a fun teamwork twist. The bosses are just as creepy and gross as before, keeping that high standard.
On the downside, the combat isn’t great. There’s this weird invisible wall thing that messes with fighting and can get annoying. Plus, the whole game is pretty short, less than four hours, so if you want a long adventure, it might leave you wanting more.
Overall, Little Nightmares II builds on the original with better atmosphere, smoother gameplay, and neat AI companions. It’s a bit short and has some combat quirks, but fans of the first game will definitely enjoy it.
